1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember information about your visit. Similar technologies — such as localStorage — work the same way. They can be "session" (deleted when you close the browser) or "persistent" (kept until they expire or you clear them).

2. How we use cookies

We keep our cookie use deliberately minimal. We use the following categories:

Strictly necessary

These keep the service working and remember your cookie choice. They include a session cookie (trimsy_session) and a security token (XSRF-TOKEN) that keep you signed in, a device cookie (trimsy_device) that lets staff switch accounts on a shared in-store device, and a small amount of local storage for your preferences. They are always on — the service can't function correctly without them — and they don't track you across other sites.

Analytics (optional)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, how people arrive, and where they run into trouble — so we can improve it. This helps us in aggregate; we don't use it to identify you personally.

Marketing (optional)

With your consent, we enable advertising-measurement signals (through Google Consent Mode) so tools such as a Meta (Facebook) pixel can measure how our ads perform. These are off by default and set nothing unless you turn on "Marketing" in your cookie choices.

3. We ask before we track

Analytics cookies are off by default. We use Google Consent Mode, which means Google Analytics stores no analytics cookies until you choose "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set.

4. Changing your choice

You can change your mind at any time on our Cookie Settings page. You can also clear cookies and site data directly in your browser settings, which removes your saved choice and shows the banner again on your next visit.

5. Third-party cookies

When analytics or marketing is enabled, some third parties may set their own cookies: Google Analytics (analytics) and, if you allow Marketing, a Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel. Their handling of that data is governed by Google's and Meta's own privacy policies.

Our marketing website also loads a live-chat widget provided by Fixique so you can talk to our team; it may set its own cookies or storage to run the chat. We don't sell your personal data.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our site or the tools we use change. We'll revise the "last updated" date above when we do.
