For Australian pool service businesses · Built in Australia

Every pool, every visit, every reading — on one record.

A pool route is the same forty properties over and over, and the value is in the record: what the water was doing last week, which pump is on its last summer, what was dosed and when. Trimsy raises each visit automatically, captures the readings on site, and keeps it all against the pool rather than a name in a notebook. Flat monthly fee, no cut of the job.

The problem

What pool service businesses struggle with

  • The weekly run rebuilt by hand every Monday from a spreadsheet and memory
  • Readings written on a pad, photographed, and never seen again
  • No history for a pool, so a recurring problem looks new every time
  • Chemicals used on site with nothing tracking what came off the ute
  • A pump quoted verbally in January and forgotten by February
  • The month’s visits invoiced one at a time, days after the last one

With Trimsy

What changes

  • Recurring visits raised automatically — weekly, fortnightly, monthly
  • Chlorine, pH and alkalinity captured on a form at the pool, stored against the property
  • Years of history on one address, so a pattern is visible instead of a surprise
  • Chemicals and parts tracked as products, so what was used reaches the invoice
  • Quote the pump or filter from site and have it accepted online before you leave
  • The whole month’s visits on one customer record, ready to invoice together

Routes, contracts and the jobs in between

A fortnightly residential run, a strata contract and a green-pool recovery are priced and recorded in completely different ways. The same property record carries all three.

Residential maintenance runs

The same properties on a repeating cycle, where consistency is the product.

  • A recurring visit set once — weekly, fortnightly, monthly
  • Readings and photos captured the same way every time
  • The customer told by SMS when the tech is coming

Strata, hotels and commercial

Contracted water quality where the record is what the client is buying.

  • Every visit filed against the site, going back years
  • Your own testing form so results are captured consistently
  • The month on one record when it is time to bill

Green pools and equipment work

One-off jobs that interrupt the run and need quoting properly.

  • Quote a recovery or a pump replacement from site
  • Customer accepts online and the quote becomes the job
  • A deposit before you order equipment

Why it matters

The history is the product

Anyone can balance a pool once. What a customer is really paying for on a contract is that somebody knows this pool — that the chlorine has been drifting for three weeks, that the cartridge was last changed in October, that the pump has been noisy since summer. Kept on a pad, that knowledge belongs to whichever tech happens to be driving. Kept on the property record, it belongs to the business.

It is also what answers a strata committee asking what they have been paying for.

  • Recurring jobs and repeat customers
  • Access notes and photos against the job
  • Digital checklists and signatures
  • Flat pricing — no commission on a job
  • Australian support, in Australian hours

Everything a pool business needs, in one tool

From the Monday run to the strata invoice at the end of the month.

Recurring visits

Set the cycle once — weekly, fortnightly, monthly — and each visit is raised on schedule against the property, with the same scope and tech.

Water readings on site

Your own form: chlorine, pH, alkalinity, stabiliser, whatever you actually test. Filled in at the pool and stored against the address, not a pad in the ute.

A file per pool

Equipment, filter model, chemical history and every past visit on the property record — so a recurring problem reads as a pattern instead of a fresh mystery.

Scheduling the run

See the day, assign visits, move them when a green pool eats a morning — and everyone affected is told by SMS as you go.

Chemicals and parts

Chlorine, acid, cartridges and pumps kept as products with prices, so what was used on site reaches the invoice instead of being absorbed.

Quote → job → invoice

Quote a pump, a heater or a recovery, have it accepted online, and turn it into a job and then an invoice without re-typing.

Payments and chasing

Take card payment, send receipts, and chase overdue invoices automatically instead of on a Sunday.

Arrival notifications

A confirmation and a heads-up on the day, so a locked side gate stops being a wasted trip.

Techs and rostering

Roster who is on which run, assign visits, and give each tech the address, gate code and history on their phone.

Reporting for BAS

Revenue by service type, by tech, by period — see whether the maintenance runs or the equipment work actually pays.

What it costs

What pool businesses ask

Every answer here is checked against the product, including the bits that are a plain no.

Does Trimsy optimise my route?

No. It shows you the day, lets you assign and reorder visits, and keeps the run consistent week to week — but it does not calculate an optimal driving order and it does not track vehicles. Route optimisation is the headline feature of several pool-specific tools, so it is worth knowing that before you trial Trimsy rather than after.

Can I record water test readings?

Yes, on a form you design — chlorine, pH, alkalinity, stabiliser, salt, whatever you test. It is completed on a phone at the pool and stored against the job and the property, so the history is there next visit. Trimsy does not calculate a dose for you and does not connect to a photometer; it records what you measured.

Can I bill a month of visits in one invoice?

Every visit sits against the one customer record, so the month is together and can be invoiced as a batch. Worth being precise: the visits are raised automatically on their schedule, but the invoice is not — you raise it when the month is done rather than it appearing by itself.

Does it handle both maintenance and one-off jobs?

Yes, and they behave differently on purpose. A maintenance visit repeats on its cycle; a green-pool recovery or a pump replacement is quoted, accepted and scheduled as its own job. Both land on the same property record, which is what makes the history useful.

What does it cost?

Essential is $24.99 a month and includes one staff member. Growth is $49.99 a month and includes three. Extra staff are $7 a month each on either plan. No commission and no per-job fee.
