Does this work for a housekeeping or maid service?
Yes — a housekeeping or maid service runs on the same shape as any recurring residential clean. Regular visits repeat on their own, each cleaner has a roster the booking times follow, checklists go to the job so the same rooms are done each visit, and the invoice is raised per clean or per month. The words differ by business; the work the software does is the same.
Does Trimsy do staff rostering for a cleaning business?

Does it do timesheets, award rates or payroll?
Timesheets yes, award rates and payroll no. Cleaners clock in and out, the hours total per person for any date range, and you export the period as a CSV — which is the number your bookkeeper or payroll software needs. What Trimsy does not do is interpret the Cleaning Services Award, work out penalty or overtime rates, or pay anyone. You will still run payroll in your payroll software; this gives it the hours.
