Billing — SMS credits and auto-recharge

Buy extra SMS credits when your monthly quota runs low, and set up auto-recharge so you never run out mid-campaign.

The SMS Credits section within Billing manages your text message balance. Every plan includes a monthly SMS quota. When you need more, you can purchase additional packs — or set up auto-recharge to top up automatically.

Monthly quota

Each plan includes a set number of SMS messages per calendar month:

  • Trial — 50 SMS
  • Essential — 200 SMS
  • Growth — 500 SMS

The quota resets on the 1st of each month. A progress bar on the Dashboard and in Billing shows your remaining credits for the current month.

Purchasing extra credits

If you are running low or need to send a large campaign, click Buy Credits and choose a pack:

  • 100 SMS — small top-up for occasional needs
  • 250 SMS — mid-tier pack for regular campaign usage
  • 500 SMS — large pack for tenants with a high client volume

Purchased credits are added on top of your monthly quota and do not expire. They are used before your monthly quota (so your monthly quota is preserved).

Auto-recharge

To never run out mid-campaign, enable Auto-recharge:

  1. Toggle Auto-recharge on
  2. Set the threshold — the number of remaining credits that triggers a purchase (e.g. when balance drops to 20)
  3. Choose the pack to auto-purchase (100, 250, or 500 credits)

When your balance falls to or below the threshold, Trimsy automatically charges your Stripe payment method and adds the credits. You receive an email confirmation each time this happens.

Low credit alert

Even without auto-recharge, Trimsy sends you a low-credit email notification when your SMS balance drops below 20% of your monthly quota. The Dashboard also shows a "Low" badge next to the SMS usage bar.
