Settings — Booking tab
Control how far in advance customers can book, the minimum notice required, booking confirmation mode, and reminder settings.
The Settings → Booking tab controls the rules that govern how customers make online appointments.
Advance booking window
Maximum advance booking — how far in the future customers can book. For example, setting this to 90 days means customers can only book appointments up to 90 days from today. This prevents you from having appointments blocked out too far in advance.
Minimum notice — the minimum amount of time before an appointment that a customer can book. For example, setting this to 2 hours means customers cannot book a 3pm appointment if it is already 1:30pm.
Appointment approval
Choose between:
- Auto-confirm — bookings are confirmed immediately when made. The customer receives a confirmation SMS/email at once.
- Requires approval — all online bookings go into a Pending state. You receive a notification and must manually approve or reject from the Bookings → Pending tab. The customer is notified of your decision.
Booking slot interval
Set how appointments are spaced on the booking page. A 15-minute interval means available slots are at 9:00, 9:15, 9:30, etc. A 30-minute interval shows 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, etc. A tighter interval gives more flexibility but produces a longer list of options.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation window — how many hours before an appointment a customer can cancel online. For example, 24 hours means customers cannot cancel within 24 hours of their appointment (they would need to call instead). Setting to 0 allows cancellations at any time.
Review request
Toggle Send review request on to automatically send a rating request to customers after their visit. Set the delay (e.g. 30 minutes after the appointment ends). Review requests use one SMS credit per customer.
Confirmation and reminder messages
Toggle on/off:
- SMS confirmation — sent immediately when a booking is confirmed
- Email confirmation — sent immediately when a booking is confirmed
- 3-day reminder — SMS and email sent 3 days before the appointment
- Day-of reminder — SMS and email sent the morning of the appointment day
