Reviews — collecting and managing customer ratings
See all customer reviews, respond to feedback, and configure how and when review requests are sent after appointments.
The Reviews page collects all customer ratings and written feedback submitted through Trimsy. Reviews can be gathered automatically after each completed appointment and displayed on your public salon website.
How reviews are collected
After a booking or queue visit is marked as completed, Trimsy can automatically send the customer an SMS or email with a link to leave a review. This is configured in Settings → Booking by enabling the Send review request toggle and setting a delay (e.g. send 30 minutes after the visit ends).
The review form on the customer's phone asks for a 1–5 star rating and an optional written comment.
Review list
The Reviews page shows all submitted reviews in reverse chronological order. Each review shows:
- Star rating
- Written comment (if provided)
- Customer name
- Date submitted
- Staff member the review is for
- Whether it has been published to your public website
Publishing reviews
Reviews are not automatically published to your website. Click the Publish toggle on any review to make it appear on your public salon website's reviews section. You can unpublish at any time.
Responding to reviews
Click a review to open it. Click Add Response to write a reply. Your response is displayed publicly below the review on your website. Responses are useful for thanking customers for positive feedback or professionally addressing negative reviews.
Flagging a review
If a review is inappropriate, spam, or irrelevant, click Flag to remove it from the published list and mark it for internal review.
