Roster — scheduling shifts and managing availability
The Roster page lets you set recurring weekly schedules, add one-off shifts, block out time, and manage leave for your entire team.
The Roster page manages your team's work schedule. The roster directly affects which time slots appear on the online booking page — if a staff member is not rostered on, customers cannot book them for that time.
Weekly template
The easiest way to set up the roster is using the Weekly Template view. For each staff member, set their default working days and hours (e.g. Monday to Saturday, 9am–5pm). This template repeats every week automatically and becomes the base schedule.
Adding a one-off shift
Click any empty date cell for a staff member and select Add Shift. Enter the start time, end time, and optionally a note (e.g. "Cover shift for Sarah"). One-off shifts override or supplement the weekly template for that specific day.
Adding a break or blocked time
Within a shift, you can add a break period that blocks a specific time without creating a booking (e.g. a 30-minute lunch break from 12:30–1:00pm). Customers cannot book the staff member during blocked time.
Recording leave
To record leave — annual leave, sick leave, or a day off — click the date for the staff member and select Add Leave. Choose the leave type and confirm. Leave overrides the weekly template and removes the staff member's bookable time for that period.
Roster vs. availability
The roster sets the times staff work. Service assignments (in Team → Staff → Services) determine what they can be booked for. Both must be in place for a staff member to appear on the online booking page.
Viewing the full team
The default roster view shows all staff in a weekly grid. Use the Filter by staff dropdown to focus on one team member at a time, or the Print button to produce a printable weekly roster.
