Staff — adding and managing your team members
Add staff profiles, assign services, set access levels, configure commission, and manage contact details for every team member.
The Staff page is your complete team directory. Each staff member has a profile that controls what they can do, which services they perform, how they are paid, and how they appear on the booking page.
Adding a staff member
Click + New Staff and fill in:
- Name — their display name on the booking page and calendar
- Email — used for login and notification emails
- Phone — mobile number for internal communications
- Role — choose from Admin, Manager, or Staff. Roles control which parts of the admin panel they can access.
- PIN — a 4-digit PIN used to clock in on the kiosk tablet
Staff roles and permissions
- Admin — full access to all areas of the admin panel
- Manager — access to most areas except billing, admin access management, and platform settings
- Staff — limited to their own bookings, queue management, and the POS. They cannot see other staff's commissions, full reports, or customer contact details unless granted.
Assigning services
Go to the staff member's Services tab in their drawer to assign which services they perform. Customers can only book a staff member for services they are assigned to. If you want the price to differ from the default service price, enable Custom pricing and set a per-staff price.
Commission settings
Set a commission percentage (or fixed amount) that this staff member earns per completed service. Commission is calculated in the Reports → Commission section and is used for payroll calculations.
Availability
Staff availability (working days and hours) is managed separately in Roster. The availability set in the roster determines which time slots appear as bookable for this staff member on the online booking page.
Deactivating a staff member
If a staff member leaves, click Deactivate rather than deleting them. Deactivated staff do not appear in new bookings but their historical service and payment records are preserved.
