Staff floor — live view of who is working right now
The Staff Floor gives a real-time picture of which team members are clocked in, what they're doing, and how long they've been active.
The Staff Floor page shows a live snapshot of your team at this moment — who is clocked in, who is currently serving a client, who is on a break, and who is available. It is designed for managers and front-of-house staff to coordinate the floor without needing to walk around checking on everyone.
Status cards
Each staff member has a status card showing:
- Name and avatar/initials
- Current status — Clocked Out, Available, In Service, On Break
- Clocked in since — how long they have been at work today
- Current client — if In Service, the client's name and service
- Time in current status — how long they have been in their current state
Status transitions
Status updates automatically as events happen:
- Clocks in on the kiosk → status changes to Available
- Starts serving a queue customer → status changes to In Service
- Completes the service → status returns to Available
- Manually marks a break on the kiosk → status changes to On Break
- Clocks out → status changes to Clocked Out
Manual override
Managers can manually change a staff member's status from the Staff Floor page. Click the status card and select a new status. This is useful if the kiosk clock-in was missed or if there is a system issue.
Refreshing
The Staff Floor updates in real time using Trimsy's live connection. If you notice it is not updating, refresh the page to re-establish the connection.
