Where Trimsy is the better fit
Where Mindbody is
Trimsy covers class-style bookings (service packs, recurring slots, capacity per service) and walk-ins. It's a good fit for boutique yoga studios with a small handful of teachers. If you run a chain of large gyms with complex class waitlists, recurring billing and franchise reporting, Mindbody is still the dominant platform.
Mindbody's Australian pricing (checked September 2026) is A$89 a month per location for Go, A$279 for Core and A$369 for Growth, with unlimited users. Trimsy is $24.99 AUD a month with one staff member or $49.99 with three, plus $7 per extra seat. For a single-location studio with a handful of staff, that is roughly a third of Mindbody's entry plan — and room and resource booking, which Mindbody includes from Core, is something Trimsy does not do.
Yes. Mindbody exports clients, services, sales history and staff lists as CSVs. Trimsy imports the standard fields automatically. Recurring memberships and complex package balances often need manual reconciliation — happy to help during a free onboarding call.
Trimsy supports prepaid service packs ("10 classes for $X") and gift cards. It does not do true recurring auto-rebilling memberships, and there is no date for it — so plan around it not existing. If unlimited monthly auto-billed memberships are core to your business model, Mindbody is the safer choice.
