Yes — for most salons. Trimsy starts at $19.99/mo (Essential) versus Timely's ~$29/mo entry tier. The bigger saving is at higher tiers: Trimsy Growth is $49.99/mo, Timely Elevate is closer to $89/mo.
Does Timely handle walk-ins?+
Timely is built around scheduled appointments. It doesn't have a kiosk check-in or digital queue. If your business mixes walk-ins with appointments — common for barbers and budget salons — Trimsy will be a better fit out of the box.
Can I migrate from Timely to Trimsy?+
Yes. Timely lets you export clients, services, and historical bookings as CSVs. Trimsy's onboarding wizard imports them. Future bookings have to be moved manually unless we run an assisted migration (free during onboarding).
Does Trimsy integrate with Xero?+
Daily summaries can be exported as CSV; a direct Xero integration is on the roadmap. Timely has had a native Xero connection for years.
