Contact requests — handling website enquiries
When visitors fill in the contact form on your public salon website, their messages appear here as contact requests.
The Contact Requests page collects messages submitted through the contact form on your public salon website. It acts as a simple inbox so enquiries are not lost in a generic email account.
What a contact request contains
Each submission includes:
- Name and contact details — name, email address, and optionally a phone number
- Message — what the customer wrote
- Submitted at — date and time of submission
- Status — New, In Progress, or Resolved
Responding to a request
Trimsy does not send replies directly from the admin panel — you respond via email or phone using the contact details provided. Once you have responded, change the status to In Progress and then to Resolved so the list stays clean.
Filtering by status
Use the Status filter at the top to show only new unread messages, messages you are working on, or closed requests. By default the page shows all unresolved requests.
Deleting requests
Once a request is resolved and you no longer need it, click the three-dot menu and select Delete. Deleted requests cannot be recovered.
Notification
When a new contact request is submitted, a notification badge appears on the Contact Requests menu item in the sidebar so you do not miss it.
