Navigating the admin panel

A tour of every section in the sidebar — what lives where and how the layout is organised.

The Trimsy admin panel is organised into eight sections in the left sidebar. Here is what each section contains and when you would use it.

Appointments

Everything related to scheduling and managing client time. Calendar shows a visual day/week view. Bookings is a searchable list of all appointments. Queue manages walk-in customers arriving without appointments. Waitlist catches customers wanting a slot that is currently full. Contact Requests collects enquiry form submissions from your public website.

Sales

Everything that involves money changing hands. POS is the point-of-sale screen for processing payments at checkout. Transactions shows a full history of every payment. Receipts lets you view, email, or reprint past receipts. Cash Drawer tracks opening float, sales, and end-of-day cash reconciliation.

Catalog

Your products and services library. Services are the things you sell as appointments. Products are retail items sold through the POS. Packs & Combos are pre-paid service bundles. Gift Cards are sold and redeemed at the POS. Promo Codes create discount codes for bookings. Intake Forms attach custom questionnaires to services.

Customers

Your client database. Customers is the main list with individual customer profiles. Loyalty Rules configures how points are earned and spent. SMS Campaigns sends bulk messages to customer segments.

Team

Your staff management hub. Staff lists all team members with their profiles and settings. Roster manages work schedules and shifts. Timesheets tracks hours worked. Staff Floor shows which staff are currently clocked in. Reviews collects and displays customer ratings.

Reports

Reports covers revenue, sales charts, loyalty, and customer analytics. Financial provides a detailed breakdown of all income and expenses. Commission calculates staff earnings based on completed services.

Admin

Admin Access controls which staff members can log into the admin panel and what they can see. Website edits the content and settings of your public salon website. QR & Links generates shareable links and printable QR codes.

Billing

Billing shows your Trimsy subscription plan, usage, and invoice history. You can upgrade your plan or purchase additional SMS credits here.

Personal menu (top right)

The avatar in the top-right corner opens a personal menu with My Attendance, My Roster, and Sign Out. My Attendance and My Roster show data for the currently logged-in staff member only.
