Sell a product without a booking

Somebody buys a bottle of something on their way out. This is the short path — cart, pay, receipt.

1. Add the items to the Cart; the Subtotal and TOTAL update as you go.

2. Take payment by Cash, entering what they handed over so Change due is calculated for you.

3. For card, Select Terminal and send it to the Square Terminal rather than keying it separately.

4. Finish and the Receipt is produced like any other sale, so takings and stock both stay right.

Tip: This still moves stock and still lands in Transactions. It is a shortcut through the till, not around it.
