Read your transactions

Transactions is the full ledger — card, cash, gift card and loyalty — with the filters you need to answer a specific question rather than scroll.

1. Set the From and To dates first; every total on the page follows that range.

2. Narrow with All locations, All methods and All types when you are chasing one till, one payment method or one kind of movement.

3. Read Earned Revenue as money for work already done, and Deferred revenue as money taken for work still to come.

4. Deposits Collected and Invoice Payments separate money taken at booking from money taken against an invoice.

Tip: Earned and Deferred are deliberately separate. A big Deferred figure is not profit yet — it is work you still owe.
