Transactions — viewing payment history and issuing refunds

The Transactions page shows every payment ever processed through Trimsy. You can search, filter, and issue full or partial refunds from here.

The Transactions page is the complete record of every payment processed through your Trimsy account — card payments via Stripe and Square, cash sales, gift card redemptions, and pack purchases.

Filtering transactions

Use the filter bar at the top to narrow results:

  • Date range — preset ranges (today, this week, this month) or a custom date picker
  • Payment method — card, cash, gift card, pack, complimentary
  • Staff — transactions where a specific staff member performed the service
  • Customer — all transactions for one customer
  • Search — by customer name, transaction reference, or amount

Transaction detail

Click any row to expand the transaction detail, which shows:

  • Items purchased (services and products)
  • Discount applied, if any
  • Payment method and amount
  • Staff who completed the service
  • Receipt status (sent, not sent)
  • Timestamp

Issuing a refund

Open a transaction and click Refund. You can choose:

  • Full refund — returns the entire amount to the original payment method
  • Partial refund — enter a specific amount to refund

For card payments, refunds are processed via Stripe or Square and typically appear on the customer's statement within 5–10 business days. Cash refunds are recorded as a manual note only — you handle the physical cash yourself.

Exporting

Click the Export CSV button to download a spreadsheet of the currently filtered transactions. This is useful for accountants and end-of-month reconciliation.
